ScotPortfolio is a collective who archive and exhibit the work undertaken by students of architecture in Scotland. Since 2015 we have collected and displayed drawings, ideas and projects from the University of Dundee, University of Edinburgh, Glasgow School of Art, Strathclyde University and Robert Gordon University online via various social media platforms and blogs.
In 2019, as part of the Archifringe Festival, we curated and produced DIASPORA; An exhibition and publication of drawings and texts by Scottish graduates now working around the World. The work display ranged from Hugh Broughton's initial sketches for an Antarctic research station to Cameron McEwan's drawings that accompany research towards a book he is currently writing, 'The Analogical City'. The graduation dates range from 1961 (Kate Macintosh) to 2018 (Fraser Morrison, recently graduated from London School of Architecture.)
Our aim is to celebrate and distinguish Scottish architecture and graduates to the wider world via both virtual and physical platforms.
We continue to curate and publish works of design and architecture and welcome any opportunities for collaboration.
